There is a 26-minute video going around called “Plandemic”, ostensibly a first part of a longer movie that’ll be released eventually. This blog is not about reviewing movies, but if I ever run out of things to talk about, maybe I’ll switch to that. Until then, I’ll try to stay on topic… but once in a while there will be overlap, so here’s what I think.
This video is well-produced and professionally-filmed. It lays out its story using every known method for conveying sincerity. It tugs at our heartstrings and incites outrage. How dare they. The video spends the first 10 minutes doing nothing but creating a narrative around the subject of the film, Judy Mikovits, being an underdog, a victim, a scapegoat… one of us, up against “the man” or “the establishment” or even just “common sense” — whatever individual challenge you may have holding you back, you can relate. She can relate. Nobody has ever heard of this woman before, so it’s important to start there — who is this person? Well, she’s clearly calm and collected and well-spoken, meaning she’s intelligent, meaning we can trust her. Notwithstanding much of what’s used to get us there is nonsense, twisted, unproven or simply fiction… it’s laid out very convincingly, and we don’t even hear the word COVID-19 until all of that is well-established.
The twisted, unproven and/or fictional claims continue, and it’s actually a bit jarring to see someone stating one-sentence lies with such calm conviction. Perhaps we have Donald Trump to thank for that. The ability to stand in front of a global crowd, spout easily-disproven lies with a straight face, and stand behind them because you have a mass of people who want to believe it and will support it and, when ultimately confronted with the irrefutable truth, will just shrug it off and laugh; haha, got you, you mis-understood, that was out of context, just being sarcastic, just kidding, whatever. Or even worse… yeah, we know he’s lying but so what.
In the video, there are facts that are easily disprovable, but the lighting, sound-editing and pacing, coupled with her calm, measured voice. Wow, it’s convincing. The Medium is the Message — indeed, Marshall McLuhan coined that phrase back in 1964. The same guy who coined the term “global village”, his vision of a more connected world thanks to the emerging technologies taking things in that direction. He died in 1980, but if he could see this video, he would be proud of his visionary assumptions, which were on point… how when you craft the medium, the message becomes secondary. The message can be anything you want it to be.
Also proud would be Joseph Goebbels, chief architect of the propaganda machine that fuelled Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945. Goebbels wrote the book on propaganda, a playbook that has been used countless times since… and that’s what bothers me most about things like Plandemic. Like a virus with multiple paths to attachment, this video is spreading, and it’s contagious to many different sorts of immune-depressed people. Instead of old and diabetic and asthmatic, this one attaches to… well, let’s break it down a bit.
There’s the usual crowd of deniers, those who yell Zag before you’ve even finished yelling Zig. The “enemy of my enemy is my friend” crowd, and there are many of those “partnerships” emerging these days.
There’s the crowd who want to fit in with like-minded people, and this video caters to them very effectively by grouping together countless unrelated conspiracy theories, and throwing them into the mix. Whether Epstein killed himself or not is quite irrelevant to this present pandemic (or is it?!), but it’s thrown in there. Maybe you agree with that, and this intelligent video agrees with that, therefore everything else in the video, you must agree with. Maybe you don’t like wearing a mask, for your own personal reasons… it traps bacteria, making it more dangerous… or it doesn’t fit well or looks silly or infringes on your constitutional rights; whatever reason you have, and whatever reason the video has, you both agree. Therefore, etc etc.
And then there’s the crowd who like to believe celebrities, because obviously, if they’re good at acting or singing or throwing a football or sinking a 3-pointer from beyond the line, they must be experts on this as well. Anyone with a blue “verified” checkmark on Instagram — well, wow, expert. And as per the point above, if I agree with said celebrity, then I’m like that celebrity. Wow!
I happen to know a lot of people… friends, professional contacts, and even family — with that little blue checkmark. None of them are epidemiologists. None of them are promoting this crap. Most of them, some of whom have audiences in the many hundreds of thousands, have come to understand that with a big platform, one offered these days by the global village that McLuhan was talking about, comes responsibility. The man with the biggest platform on this planet is using it to promote bullshit, so why shouldn’t anyone else? Press conferences, speeches, Twitter. The presidency of the United States is the greatest soapbox of all, and once people have decided that if anything goes for that guy, anything goes for anyone. And that’s where we’re in big trouble.
And that’s why this video crosses-over from just being the usual fringe nonsense to actually being dangerous. This video will kill people. That couple that ingested the aquarium additive that contained chloroquine phosphate — the man died, and the woman told NBC News that she’d heard Donald Trump speaking repeatedly about chloroquine and put two and two together, hey, isn’t that the stuff we give the fish?
People will see this video, feel empowered by its dangerous nonsense and, more than ever, act in what they believe to be in their best self-interest… without realizing that they’re not only taking themselves down, but possibly others with them.
I don’t have a simple answer to this, so here’s a complicated answer: instead of dismissing everyone who’s promoting this video as stupid or crazy, do your part in intelligently trying to show them why it’s wrong, why it’s propaganda, why it’s false and why it’s dangerous. Certainly, there are people who don’t want to be convinced otherwise. There’s little you can do, other than avoid them in person until there’s a vaccine. But there is a big difference between stupidity and ignorance. One of them is fixable, and there’s no reason not to try. Like herd immunity, if enough people are educated enough to actually know and understand what’s going on — and act accordingly — perhaps we can reach beyond a tipping point of “herd knowledge”. There’s no vaccine for that one either, although it seems many people could use a good dose.

For the first time in history, the modality of natural selection is critical thinking. Those who have better critical thinking capabilities will survive and procreate and carry on the species with their genes. Those who lack critical thinking capabilities will succumb to disinformation and die.

I don’t remember a vaccine for Sars and it burned itself out. The key is making sure your immune system is working fully.Every where i go , lots of unhealthy people and people on meds. My accountant was shocked i wasn’t on meds and not claiming any deductions. The boomers will not outlive their parents unless they become big pharma lab rats. I have friends and relatives not making it to 70 well before this virus hit. Look around , it’s an unhealthy world.
I had to laugh when you mentioned propaganda. You do know that the American Media is for the most part an arm of the Democrat Party – actually more powerful than the party itself. I notice you didn’t include that fact. Also the woman whose husband drank the fish tank solution has been charged with his murder.
The Doctor in the Plandemic video – the jury is still out on her accusations but the fact can’t be denied that Bill Gates is being sued by African Countries for paralyzing and in some cases killing people in Africa with his ‘’vaccine’’. You see the fake media lies by omission by not reporting facts or even bothering to investigate. It doesn’t fit their narrative. Thé Left and their Den of Thieves May have protection from the Media but i believe the truth will come out eventually. Good always prevails over Evil.
“For Those Who Doubt the Plandemic Movie
I researched some of the “facts” going around claiming to have “debunked” the movie, which are being regurgitated by many who prefer to remain asleep and won’t put the effort in to research things themselves. Here is what I found along with all of my supporting sources.
1. Dr. Anthony Fauci has worked at the National Institute of Health (NIH) since 1968 and has been a Director with the organization since 1984, “both as a scientist and as the head of the NIAID at the NIH”. A simple Wikipedia search resolved that one.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Fauci
2. The NIH was one of the institutions funding the original study published in 10/23/2009, which Dr. Mikovits participated in and makes reference to in the Plandemic movie. Dr. Fauci worked at and continues to work at the NIH, one of the primary financial contributors to the study as one of it’s most senior directors, so you can indeed say that Dr. Judy Mikovits was in fact working for Dr. Fauci. I have downloaded the complete original study and saved for you to access here (highlights on page 3 denote Dr. Judy Mikovits’s participation and her employing firm) (highlights on page 6 indicate the institutions which provided the funding for the study):
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1MUVoBB_tL_e-opUws_FQwOfWupbgIj-K
3. The study was challenged in 2010, when other researches could not replicate their findings and in September 2010, the original team, inclusive of Dr. Judy Mikovits issued an official response supporting their work.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1duM3FU-Tt60yGkSyqbskEFyrEa37W3nh
4. After which the original study was partially and then subsequently fully retracted (a very rare move in science). The partial retraction document states that two of the co-authors, Robert Silverman and Das Gupta (whom the original study listed as working for the Department of Cancer Biology) re-analyzed the samples they used and discovered that they had been contaminated. Please refer back to the first link provided herein, for item #1 showing the original study, indicates on the document that it has since been retracted.
5. That she was arrested and a quote from the prosecuting district attorney, that said the charges were dropped because “there were issues with the witnesses”.

6. In September 2012, Dr. Judy Mikovits and a team of other scientists conducted another study replicating the original one and published their findings, ultimately resolving the scientific communities dispute over the original work.

*Copied and Pasted
I watched the 25 minute version on YouTube before it was removed too. Well produced drivel a la that thing a few years ago that starts with the seemingly reasonable religious calendar explanation animated thing etc, then the next segment just gets batshit crazy with 911 conspiracy stuff. Loose Change…..just looked it up. Wow, it was produced by Alex Jones. So, not surprising.
We’ve always had this. Guy on the sidewalk screaming “Jesus died for your sins!” or the people out front the Scientology place on Hastings trying to lure you in for a “personality test”, which you’ll fail miserably, surprise surprise, and you’ll need their help! It’s always been there. The snake oil salesman.
In the 80’s we all copied radio songs on cassette instead of buying albums. No big deal. Then Napster, came and it’s a big deal. It’s a threat. The problem is the one-to-one nature of the conning of one follower at a time wasn’t a worry. Now the internet and social media have made it a quickly spreadable a one-to-many problem. That video was up a day and had 5M+ views by the time I saw it before YouTube removed it.
But what do you do? People have forever believed nonsense. Bible, Quran, whatever religious drivel on multi-hundred or thousand year old paper has sucked people in forever. Every word of every religious book is 100% fable, not to be believed. I don’t want to hear “faith” in any counter argument ever again as it’s simply a word that says, “I don’t question a thing, I just accept the Kool-aid”.
But what do we do with the one-to-many problem? Who or what will vet what’s acceptable to hear? The CCP does this. How’s that working out?
Who sets the standards and who punishes the media outlets for giving something a loudspeaker? What gets an exemption? Surely not religion.
Our only solution is education. If someone’s going to eat fish tank cleanser on advice they heard, it’s not long until the next ridiculous thing that person hears claims them anyway.
Let’s give everyone the critical thinking tools they need rather than indoctrinate or censor. Problem is……teachers, especially in universities (not in sciences, but in social courses) are becoming indoctrinators and censors themselves. Campuses have “I don’t want to hear that” trigger warnings and safe spaces etc. No one is learning anything. They’re just being indoctrinated with agenda.
Woman Who Blamed Trump after Giving Her Husband Fish-Tank Cleaner Now Under Investigation for Murder
By TOBIAS HOONHOUT

(Pixabay)
Arizona police are now conducting a homicide investigation into a woman who claimed she gave her husband fish tank cleaner after President Trump claimed the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine was an effective treatment for coronavirus.
Wanda Lenius told NBC News last month that she and her husband Gary consumed fish tank cleaner because it contained a chemical that Trump suggested might be an effective prophylactic and treatment for coronavirus. The cocktail, which contained four teaspoons of fish tank cleaner mixed with soda water, put Wanda in the ICU and killed Gary. “My advice,” Wanda explained, is “don’t believe anything that the President says and his people because they don’t know what they’re talking about.”
The Washington Free Beacon, which first reported that Wanda was a “prolific” Democratic donor and that she had a troubling relationship with her husband that included a previous domestic assault charge, revealed Tuesday night that Mesa City Police Department is conducting a criminal investigation into the death of Gary, and requested recordings of the Free Beacon’s interviews with Wanda.
“As this is an active investigation, I cannot go into any details at this time regarding the case,” homicide detective Teresa Van Galder told the Free Beacon. In an interview, Wanda Lenius told the outlet that her decision to drink the cleaner with her husband was “a spur of the moment thing,” and that they ingested “one teaspoon and some soda” each — at least four times the lethal limit.
The Beacon also reported that friends of the deceased man were skeptical that he would knowingly consume fish-tank cleaner.
“What bothers me about this is that Gary was a very intelligent man, a retired [mechanical] engineer who designed systems for John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa, and I really can’t see the scenario where Gary would say, ‘Yes, please, I would love to drink some of that Koi fish tank cleaner,’” one of his close friends told the Washington Free Beacon. “It just doesn’t make any sense.”
Whether hydroxychloroquine is an effective coronavirus treatment has not been clinically determined. Nevertheless, the drug has become a partisan issue. Last week, Michigan Democrats said that they would censure a state Democrat who met with Trump earlier this month to thank him, after she said her life was saved by a hydroxychloroquine treatment. But the FDA recently warned against the use of the drug to treat COVID-19, citing the risk of heart-rhythm problems, and hospital demand for the drug has declined.
Perhaps we need to build up a list of refutations and be able to point people at it when they risk becoming “infected” with the plandemic.
It’s just an ad for her book. So ticklish that she goes over everyone else’s profit motives with her comb of morality but nobody asks her about how this video will impact sales of her new book which dropped on April 14, selling for $26 ????
If she cared that much, it would be free!
Why It’s Important To Push Back On ‘Plandemic’—And How To Do it https://www.forbes.com/sites/tarahaelle/2020/05/08/why-its-important-to-push-back-on-plandemic-and-how-to-do-it/
I’m still scratching my head as to who might have produced it, and why.
It is, by the verifiable standards you have outlined, specifically engineered to exaserbate the global health crisis. But my default radar for such expensive investment in promoting dishonesty which is a “follow the money” mantra doesn’t seem to be helping me this time. The film doesnt promote any specific financial interests. There isn’t yet an apparent book, or TV show or any specific product being promoted. No specific political parties or individuals are promoted. No explicit ideologies such as fundamentalist religions are promoted. With certainty, it is a carefully crafted and highly polished production of exactly the type of strategic disinformation that we are used to seeing Russian troll factories produce in text format. Have they upped their game? How might this serve their, or their client’s interests? On that thread, is there any way a nation state or well funded social movement might feel they could net benefit from the impact of this video?
Maybe it has been deliberately conceiled in this opening salvo (like the foot-in-the-door opening statements designed to be recited by missionary canvassers of some religions BEFORE they introduce their organization) and my question will be answered in the next installment.
In the mean time, we seem free to speculate. Any ideas who stands to gain, whether monetarily, politically or strategically by the worsening of the outbreak in the US?
